2nd Hand Advice

My name is David Wood.  California has been my home for 35 years.  I am from Boston and grew up in the 60’s and 70’s.   I am an accomplished ametuer chef, been a successful banker for 34 years in commercial real estate finance, been happily married 34 years to my sweetheart Lorene and together we have 2 very special sons.  I am a believer and deeply love the Lord. I starting blogging because I love to write and give advice.   Most of the topics I write about come to me out of a deep sleep usually between 4 and 6AM a few times a week.  I just wake up and have to write. Sometimes I sound like a self help book, but honestly, I don’t read them.  Honest.   Some of the things I write are not all that new or unique.  But I believe deeply that sometimes the advice you hear a second time is the best advice you’ll ever get; hence my blog name “2nd Hand Advice”.  It’s sort of like food that taste better the next day, or an idea or experience that presents itself again in your life.  Somehow this time, it has more meaning.  I hope you get something from my snipets and musings, and I really pray you get some advice you’ve heard before.  Except this time, it’s the best advice you’ve heard a second time.
